Ok, this is the official first post on SomewhereSouth.net
A few hours of installing, configuring and finetuning and the website is officially up 'n running. Sitestats are working already, made possible by the awstats utillity. Posts on this website will be in english as at least half of the people looking at this site are english-speaking. (/me waves to Nicky's family down under)
This weblog will be used by Nicky to write down her big after-highschool Australia/New-Sealand/Bali-adventure, hopefully followed by me around the beginning of januari 2005 to do the big adventure at least partly together...
Well, this is de point where I'll leave the writings to Nicky for a while and give myself a beer to celebrate the work done the last few days. A photo-gallery is almost ready to become live, mailinglist has still to be arranged, but first: BEER!
